In the era of knowledge management and knowledge economy, it is a duty for a first-class university to create a better tomorrow for mankind.

As a consequence, on August 1st, 2010, the Office of Research and Development (ORD) was established with two divisions and one center: the Division of Comprehensive Planning, the Division of Academic Development and Cooperation, and the Industry-Academia Cooperation and Incubation Center. On February 1st, 2022, the Industry-Academia Cooperation and Incubation Center reorganized to the Division of Industry-Academia Cooperation and Career Development.

The Division of International Affairs was the former Division of Academic Development and Cooperation. Due to the increasing need for international partnerships and academic cooperation of the NTUE, we were renamed on 20th May 2014 to the Division of International Affairs to improve the internationalization of higher education.
