Notice: Graduating Students and Advisors of Graduating Classes are Cordially Invited to Attend 2024 NTUE Commencement Ceremony!

Dear Teachers and Students,

2024 NTUE Commencement Ceremony will be held at 9:00 a.m. on June 15 (Saturday) on the 3rd floor of the Gymnasium.

At that time, a livestreaming area will also be set up in the Auditorium to provide an online livestreaming service ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QO5sPKFUVg ), enabling relatives of graduating students who are unable to access the venue to participate in this momentous event via the livestream.

The invitation cardcommencement procedure, and seating chart for the commencement ceremony are as shown in the attachment.

If you have any questions about the ceremony, please feel free to contact the Extracurricular Activities Guidance Division at any time.

We cordially invite all teachers and students to attend this year’s commencement ceremony!

Notes for Graduating Students
  • Report to the graduation ceremony in your graduation gown.
  • 8:00am to 9:00am: Graduating students start entering the venue.
  • Graduating students and their family members and relatives must enter the venue on both sides of the main entrance to the Gymnasium. If you need a wheelchair or you are unable to climb the stairs, attend the commencement at the Auditorium by watching the livestream for the sake of your safety.
  • No food or drink are allowed inside the venue at any point in the entire ceremony. Turn off your cellphone or put your cellphone on silent mode, to maintain order in the graduation ceremony.
  • To make sure the commencement proceeds smoothly, do not take photos or video when guests are delivering speeches and when the tassel turning ceremony is held. You may take photos at the ceremony venue from the end of the ceremony until 12noon.
  • On the day of the commencement, venue entry and exit times are controlled. We ask that participants enter and exit from the venue during the opening time and follow NTUE personnel’s instructions.
Notes for Advisors
  • Your seat will be next to your class’s seating area.
  • When the master of ceremonies announces “Awarding of diplomas and turning of tassels,” tassel-turning representatives for doctoral programs, master’s degree programs, and bachelor’s degree programs will first complete tassel-turning on stage. Once this is complete, the master of ceremonies will request that teachers turn tassels for their students below the stage.
